Time in nature lifts your mood, calms your nervous system, and inspires awe. Friends of Greenwich Point is hosting two Mindfulness classes at Greenwich Point this spring. Dr. Nancy Boksenbaum, a local mindfulness teacher, will lead the class to help you more fully connect to nature. You will learn a variety of introductory practices to befriend your breath, settle your mind, and be present with the sights and sounds of the Point.

Directions and Instructions:
You may park in the Marina Parking and Boat Launch Lot, Number 14, near the Old Greenwich Yacht Club on the map below. Cross the street and walk up the drive to the Seaside Garden and Cow Barn Parking Lot, Number 17. Walk through the split rail fence, across the lawn up the hill to the Seaside Garden gate. Please bring a folding lawn chair or beach chair, a sweater or jacket, and give yourself enough time to be settled at 9:30am.
You may be able to park in the Seaside Garden and Cow Barn Parking, Number 17, but sometimes there is a chain across the entrance, in which case you have to drive all the way around the Point to get back to Marina Parking and Boat Launch Lot, Number 14. There will not be a raindate; however, there will be a second mindfulness class held on Wednesday, Oct 4. Participants may register for both classes. The tickets are free, but they will not be available after 25 tickets (per class) have been reserved.
Park entry rules and fees apply.
