Habitat Restoration Posters​

Two new posters were added to the park by the park staff describing our efforts with Habitat Restoration. In order to rid areas of invasive growth without pesticides there has to be a sort of clear cutting, intensive mowing for a few years THEN planting. It is our intention to weaken the plants we do not want by constant cutting then shade them out with new native growth. We have made some great progress where these signs are posted. See if you can find them as you walk throughout the park.
